ALONTAN NATURAL AFTER-BITE PEN dispenses a liquid containing natural substances (camomile, mallow, calendula) that soothes the discomfort (itching, redness, swelling) caused by mosquito bites, other insects, stinging plants, jellyfish.
ALONTAN NATURAL AFTER-BITE PEN does not contain ammonia and is suitable for children, even young children. It can be used from 6 months of age.

How to use it: simply dispense the liquid and gently massage the area to be treated with the tip of the pen. If necessary, repeat the application after a few minutes.

The mosquito likes to choose: it prefers certain people more than others
The (female) mosquito much prefers type 0 blood to type A and B or AB blood. People with blood type 0 are bitten twice as often as those with blood type A; roughly midway between these two extremes are those with blood type B. They had really done their homework at PIXAR when they decided to make a slightly tipsy mosquito order a “Bloody Mary 0+” in “A Bug's Life”!
The mosquito prefers individuals who have higher levels of certain chemicals in their skin, including lactic acid. They are also attracted to deodorants, perfumes, soaps, other fragrances. They prefer beer drinkers and wear brightly coloured clothes: when hunting, the insects make equal use of sight and smell. They are attracted by the emission of carbon dioxide and can sense its presence up to 60 metres away. For this reason, athletes attract the attention of mosquitoes as they emit greater volumes of CO2. Pregnant women are bitten on average twice as much as normal, since they produce 20% more carbon dioxide and have a slightly higher body temperature.
