  • ALONTAN NATURAL is a protective wipe containing citronella, eucalyptus, sage. These substances of plant origin are extracted from plants known for their protective activity.
    ALONTAN NATURAL protective wipe has a formula that keeps the skin soft, moisturised and pleasantly scented (not for mosquitoes!).
    Provides natural protection for a duration of 2.5 hours (tested protective efficacy). It can be used from 6 months of age.

  • Application: wipe on clean, dry skin. Repeat the application about every two hours.

  • Do not use on damaged or reddened skin, on lips, near eyes and in cases of prolonged exposure to sunlight.
    Contains 12 soft wipes in single pouch.

The mosquito bites using a very sophisticated “system” consisting of no less than 6 needles

The mosquito (female) bites with a needle system that has no equivalence in nature. After settling on the targeted area of the body, it prepares its weapon. It drives two sharp mandibular blades (very similar to an electric knife with two blades moving back and forth alternately) and pierces the skin. It drives two retractor needles that are responsible for opening a corridor for the “proboscis”. The proboscis is actually a kind of directionable hypodermic needle that penetrates and searches for the nearest blood vessel. Using this type of straw, it starts sucking 3-5 milligrams of blood. At the same time, it begins to eliminate water in the blood in order to concentrate the protein content to 20% of the total. Meanwhile, the sixth needle pumps saliva containing an anticoagulant to keep the blood flowing and reduce the time it takes to feed (reducing the risk of being swatted). This anticoagulant saliva causes an allergic reaction so the "gift" the mosquito leaves behind is swelling and itching around the bite.
